First soccer game

Konnie had her very first soccer game on Saturday. She did great!! We had so much fun watching the Beavers play (Konnie's team name) they are in the light blue shirts. Warming up before the game Goalie Konnie For the first half, she was the goalie, then in the second half she was able to play forward and defender. She scored her first GOAL!!!! We couldn't be more proud of our daughter!!!

First video is of Konnie as goalie...stopping the opponents attempt at a goal! Second video is of Konnie scoring her very first GGGOOOOAAAAALLLLLLL!! Sorry the videos aren't zoomed in...but we had our hands full with Kaden and Kory...and our 2 cameras!!

Konnie lost something...

Yes, our big girl lost her first tooth!!! I can't believe it. She is growing up so fast.

Wow, $2!!!

I can't believe that Konnie is starting Kindergarten in a month...wow!!! She will be going to St. James School again, in full-time Kindergarten. Konnie is so excited and is going to absolutely love it. Her reading, spelling, and math skills are unbelievable. Konnie is such a smart girl!!

Kraig's 40th Birthday!!!

My wonderful husband recently turned 40!!

How did that happen?! It seems as though we just met a few years ago...apparently it has been 20 years!!!! Time definitely flies when you are having fun.

We celebrated Kraig's birthday with a backyard BBQ - Hawaiian theme. The weather was perfect. We had many friends and family there to celebrate.

Our good friend Greg, brother Kevin and nephew Kobalt, were all conspiring to tackle the birthday boy and give him his 40 spankings. Greg was setting Kraig up by asking him about some lineman drills for our upcoming football camp.













Wow...look at those flames...it took quite a while to light 40 candles. Good thing that Kraig's brother and sister-in-law are firefighters!!

Dress Up Time

Konnie has always loved dressing up and having tea parties. Mom and I have always joked about how when Kaden and Kory got bigger that they would have to dress up and join the tea party. Well, it has started...at least the dressing up part. I am sure the boys will LOVE that I took these pictures.










Kaden wasn't impressed that his gown was removed for other purposes...



...like turning into a veil.



Doesn't every prince/princess need rubber boots? Apparently so...
